About

Hola! Hola!

Mo (locs and a button down shirt) is a designer who’s always loved blending art, technology, and storytelling. Once upon a time, she was an Imagineer designing for Disney theme parks and resorts; later, she produced interactive experiences for Google campuses and events. Now, she’s channeling that creative energy into building something for her own family. She’s been diving into AI-generated art to put more diverse stories out in the world – especially now that she and Sophia have 2 eager young readers at home. A lifelong introvert and overthinker, Mo recharges with good books, long walks, and a solid TV binge. She’s a self-proclaimed cancer healing researcher and also the kitchen chemist, always experimenting to make nutritious and delicious meals.

Money smarts have always been second nature – she grew up helping her mom with fixer-upper homes and later discovered the F.I.R.E. movement, stocks, and real estate investing for herself. It felt like unlocking a secret level in life. Now, she’s passionate about making sure financial freedom isn’t some hidden game only a few people get to play.

Sophia (curls poppin’ and in the sweater with hearts) is the ultimate planner, connector, and motivator. She’s the reason the family actually leaves the house for new adventures (with a spreadsheet itinerary and packing list in hand). A natural at making deep connections, she makes friends wherever she goes – just part of what makes her an incredible therapist, mother, and friend. Sophia’s the family’s financial strategist, uncovering travel hacks, stretching the grocery budget without compromising quality, and making sure every dollar works smarter not harder. She’s also a Bravo Baddie – because after a long day of parenting and keeping everything running, sometimes you want reality TV therapy. A survivor of metastatic inflammatory breast cancer, she’s passionate about holistic wellness – mind, body, and spirit – especially for fellow women of color. Her green thumb keeps the family’s thriving garden going, and her love of community means she’s always looking for ways to help everyone grow together.

We’re on a mission to live well, build wealth, and share what we learn along the way. Whether it’s gardening, financial independence, entrepreneurship, or just finding ways to feel good in the midst of life’s chaos, we want to make sure these conversations are open, real, and accessible.
