🌈 ✊🏾 Moms sharing stories of hope
Welcome to We Thrive in Color – our corner of the internet to share stories that help families talk about big feelings and find hope together. We’re the authors of Elsa Extraordinary, a series following a little girl after her mom’s cancer diagnosis. Our stories, videos, and resources remind kids (and parents) that it’s okay to talk about hard things and that they’re not alone.

Hey fam,
We’re Sophia and Mo—a married couple raising two spirited kids while building a life rooted in joy, resilience, and creativity.
We love ballin’ on a budget, tending our garden, cuddling up for storytime or a good show, and adventuring whenever we can (between snack requests and fiercely protected nap times).
Before we went full-time on our family business, Mo designed immersive experiences at Google and Walt Disney Imagineering, and Sophia worked as a therapist and the CEO of our home. Then life threw us some plot twists: Sophia was diagnosed with metastatic inflammatory breast cancer, Mo began navigating mysterious aches and fibroids in her forties, and of course—we’ve had our share of kid colds, epic tantrums, and messy growth.
Through it all, we’ve doubled down on our values: feeling good, doing good, and thriving as a family—together.
We’re sharing what’s working, what’s healing, and what’s inspiring us.
Thanks for being part of our village.
